Celebrity Weddings Over Labor Day Weekend

Wedding bells were ringing this past Labor Day weekend as both Gabrielle Union and Ashlee Simpson tied the knot during ceremonies in Connecticut and Florida.

According to People, Gabrielle Union wed Miami Heat shooting guard, Dwayne Wade, on Saturday, August 30th at the Chateau Artisan castle in Miami in front of a small crowd of family and friends. This is the second marriage for both Union and Wade.

Union shared this beautiful Instagram photo on Monday with the caption, “#TheWadeUnion”

Ashlee Simpson married Evan Ross, the son of Diana Ross, on Sunday, August 31st at Diana’s estate in Greenwich, CT. Older sister, Jessica Simpson, who recently entered her second marriage with NFL player Eric Johnson, served as the Maid of Honor for Ashlee and Jessica’s children, Maxwell and Ace, served as the flower girl and ring bearer. This is Ross’ first marriage while Simpson was married to musician Pete Wentz from 2008 to 2011.

Simpson’s father, Joe, posted this Instagram of his baby girl Sunday night with the caption, “Ashlee got married tonight.”
